A native son of Tampa, Aristotelis “Telly” Konstantinidis started his craft learning as much as he could from comic art. Later he was heavily influenced by Alfons Mucha, Gustav Klimt, Frank Frazetta, and many other graphic and fantasy artists. Having attended a few universities for design and art, he finally received his BFA in Drawing from USF with intentions of teaching. The Florida school system being in a constant state of budget cuts, the arts being the first place to be trimmed, other avenues needed to be pursued.
Telly started seriously thinking about exploring tattooing, having been encouraged for many years by friends in and around the industry that his artistic style would carry over well. Soon enough he was starting his apprenticeship with Chino Gonzalez at Barbers Ink. Telly has been tattooing for 10+ years now and constantly trying to hone his skills and get his brand of art out in the public eye. His goal in every tattoo he does is to make it the best it can be, whether it’s a sleeve or a small flower or script. It makes the tattoo experience more fulfilling for both the client and artist.
